Glo-Group consists of Glo-Babies, Glo-Kids Parties and Glo-DJ. Founded in 2018 by husband and wife team, Sam and Michelle Dowler. Both with expertise in Primary Education settings decided after having had our own family of 4 children that we wanted to do something that utilised our valuable skills whilst also providing the perfect work/life balance.
Sam was already managing after school club services and came up with the idea of injecting fun into the sports he was delivering with lights and music, which were received very well even by children who typically wouldn't sign up for sports.
Putting our heads together we came up with ideas as to how to expand into pre school using predominantly Light Play and sensory equipment. Having also provided children's parties we quickly realised that light and music could inject the same kind of excitement and learning opportunities that were being experienced in after school clubs to a much younger audience.
